You are cordially invited to participate in the webinar called “Reflexiones sobre violencias y salud sexual y reproductiva de mujeres migrantes” (Reflections on violence and reproductive sexual health of migrant women).

This event is organized by FLACSO El Salvador in conjunction with the Red de Conocimiento sobre Seguridad Ciudadana – Conose (Knowledge Network on Citizen Security), a network of academic institutions that emerged in 2016 with the aim of generating spaces for reflection and collaboration to produce rigorous evidence on violence and crime in the countries of Central America and the Dominican Republic. The Conose network has focused on analyzing the different forms of violence faced by women in Latin America, specifically in the region of Central America and the Dominican Republic, and is currently promoting the issue of human mobility.

The webinar will present the results of the ReGHID Project in the Mesoamerican corridor and the results of the survey carried out on Venezuelan migrant women in Brazil. The activity aims to generate a space for critical discussion that contributes to academic and political knowledge about violence and the sexual and reproductive health challenges faced by women in migration conditions in the Latin American region and the institutional responses that have been given around these topics.

The event will take place on Thursday 23 February 2023 at 10:00 – 12:00 Central American time (16:00 – 18:00 UK time) via Zoom.

You can register for this event via this link. Please join us!
