Jovana is a Medical practitioner, with a master’s and Doctorate in Public Health with expertise in topics related to Health Systems, Children, Gender and Interculturalism. She is an external advisor to International Cooperation Agencies on issues related to Health Models, Maternal Child Health and Neglected Diseases. Currently is a teacher and researcher of the Public Health Team of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of the Andes. With great expertise in primary health care strategies and project development involving community intervention related to highly vulnerable or armed conflict populations. High sensitivity by social issues – Inequities and social injustice in ethnic minority groups or population under special conditions.

Oscar Alberto Bernal Acevedo

Oscar is a medical practitioner of the University of Antioquia (UDEA), Master of the Tulane University School of Public Health in International Public Health and Master in Planning and management of social programmes at the University of Coruña, Spain. He has a PhD in Public Health and Biomedical Research from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He has more than 20 years of experience as programme coordinator at  Medics Without Borders, teaching and research on topics such as health systems, epidemics, infectious diseases, evaluation and monitoring, health system reform, health sciences, collective health and public health.
